Team Party 6:00-9:30 PM

Hello parents and Manorays!

Sunday night will be a busy night at the pool for the team party. Here is a tentative schedule for the night below.

We are asking that when the parents and swimmers enter the pool that several things happen.

1. Parents pick up the items for their family – pictures and team gift.

2. Find a place to sit as a family and swim in the pool. There will also be a DJ for entertainment!

3. Money hunt in the both pools at 6:15. If you have a handful of loose change in your car, I am collecting coins at the entrance for the team money hunt.

4. Dinner will be ready around 6:30 PM. The menu is chicken thighs and drumsticks, chicken tender, pasta and meatballs, mini sliders, salad, fruit, pretzel bites, and dessert (cookies and cake). There is also water and soda available. 

5. After dinner, the coaches will talk about the season and give out awards. Dessert will be after the team awards.

6. At that point, I will be happy to meet with parents who are interested in helping to organize and plan for the 2025 season. I can also review finances for those interested. I am looking for volunteers to take over different positions like concessions, team clothing, team party, team picture, etc. There has been some discussion about hosting the Individual meet next season, but that would take a commitment of a group of parents.

7. Thank you for a great season. The swimmers had a lot of fun and success, it was all supported by the parents who have volunteered to make it work. Thank you to everyone, I appreciate your all that you do to make this team a success.

8. The team party is fully paid for from the revenues generated from the concessions this year. All members of the family are welcome. There are a few slots to help set up and clean up open to anyone who is wanting to fulfill their volunteer obligation.
