Week of July4^th – 8^th

Monday: We will run practice only from 11 AM-12 noon. All ages are welcome. The swimmers will swim for part of the practice and celebrate with some pool games and we have a holiday coloring activity for the those interested (kids can bring their own red, white and blue crayons or markers).

There is regular practice the rest of the week.

Tuesday is the last meet and it is a home meet against Adams Ridge. Swimmers are asked to arrive at 5:15 PM to check in with the coaches and get their events. Warm ups are at 5:30 PM and the meet starts at 6:30 PM.

After the swim meet on Tuesday, we will celebrate in the pavilion the two swimmers who are in their last Manoray season with some cake. Families are all welcome to stay. We will also be able to swim until 9:30 after we clean up from the meet.

Additionally, I thought we might be able to field a relay team of parents vs. the coaches. I put this in the job sign up to get an idea if we had enough interest to run this event after the coaches race, or event #42. I was hoping we could keep this a surprise for the swimmers and coaches. Or maybe we can swim a parent and coach mixed relay race.

Finally, mark your calendars for the team party on Saturday evening, July 16^th at the pool. Family members are invited.
