2. Parents: Please check the Swimtopia site to declare if your swimmers will be available for the meets next week.

In addition to the declaring your children for the meets next week, please volunteer to work the meet and to stock the concession stand. It is expected that all families work four (4) meets or more this season. All volunteers will receive a guest pass for the pool.

A reminder that the baby pool WILL NOT be open for swim meets as the pool closes at 4 PM.

3. On Friday, June 10^th, the coaches will be running time trials during swim practice. It will be done during the regular practice times. I am sure we will swimmers go off the blocks, go off the side of the pool, and some start in the water. Practice makes us prepared for our race next week.

The swimmers get in and out of the water several times, so an extra towel may be needed Friday for the little ones! Sweatshirts and pants are also good things to have on hand.

While the coaches are organizing the swimmers for the time trials, I will be happy to answer question or assist parents with the website if necessary. Any adult guardian is welcome to be there with the children. New swim caps will also be distributed. 

4. While it is terrific to be outside and not cooped up in the house, there may be days that are not fit for swimming. We are going to use the guide of 65 degrees for the hours of swim practice as a benchmark to cancel practice. Earlier this week was rainy and chilly therefore practice was cancelled. If the temperature is going to rise during the practice, we will try to get it in. I wanted to let you know of what helped make the decision to cancel. It is always up the parent if they want to bring their swimmer on cool days.
