Meet Schedule

5:05 – Meeting for Volunteers

5:15 – Meeting for Coaches

5:30 – Call for first event to seeding area

5:35 – National Anthem and Welcome

5:40 – Meet begins

Please arrive promptly at 4:50. Coaches will be writing events on hands and giving out cards. For parents, it is helpful to take a picture of their hand so you know when the child swims. Please keep an eye on the pink cards hanging and send your child over when you see their event number. And remember no swim caps with other team names on it. Purple caps are preferred so spectators can cheer on their team!

Competition

The events in this meet are the same events as a regular dual meet with the subtraction of the 100 IM events. With one heat per event this year (with only 6 teams, versus the regular 8) this meet should run quicker than a regular meet because there are NO alternate heats. Diving will be allowed at both ends of the pool.

Responsibility of Each Swim Club

Each team has the responsibility of their own swimmer’s behavior. Host club has the authority to eject competitor’s parents from their facility. Each club must clean up their area prior to leaving.

Pool Parking

Volunteers will be given preferential parking in the pool parking lot. Once the lot is full, families may park in the lot at St. Thomas in the Fields Episcopal Church at the top of Dickey Road. A shuttle bus will run to take people to and from the pool.

Refreshments

A large variety of foods (Chick fil A nuggets and sandwiches at 5:30), hot dogs, burgers, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase from arrival until the end of the meet.
