2021 NHSSL SILVER DIVISION INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP INVITATIONAL

TUESDAY, JULY 13, 2021

Address: Kiwanis Park - Crawford Pool, 1 Meyer Lane, Glenshaw, PA 15116 (from BP 20-25 minutes)

Schedule:

Arrival: 4:35

Warm-ups are at 4:50-5:10

5:35 pm: Meeting for Coaches, Starter, Stroke and Turn judges and timers.

5:35 first events to seeding area in grass behind blocks.

5:45 MEET BEGINS

Please arrive promptly at 4:35. Coaches will not have cards with events listed to give to swimmers. Instead, your swimmer will have the event number, heat, and lane written on their hand. For parents, it is helpful to take a picture of their hand so you know when the child swims. Please keep an eye on the pink cards hanging and send your child over when you see their event number. And remember no swim caps with other team names on it. Purple caps are prefered so spectators can cheer on their team!

Pool:

Spectators can view from both sides of the Snack Shack, and up in our baby pool area. Teams will be organized in the grass area to the right of our slide. Swimmers will enter the master seeding area from behind the slide, through the baby pool area, to behind the blocks in the grass area. They can return to the team area past our shallow end of the main pool. Each team can have 2 coaches on deck.

We will have Lucky Duckies for sale for all swimmers. $1 a duck, and you can send your swimmer a good luck message with a rubber ducky. We will organize your ducks in a basket to be delivered to your team to be distributed throughout the meet. Our concession stand will be open! Concessions is serving chicken fingers, fries, pizza, and ice cream treats. (their team earns all proceeds from the concession stand that night only)

Responsibility of each swim club:

Each team has the responsibility of their own swimmer’s behavior. Host club has the authority to eject competitor’s parents from their facility. Each club must clean up their area prior to leaving.
